Define the operating scope
Choose the service area, delivery windows, expected vehicle requirement and rider arrangement. Record who handles onboarding, energy access, service and day-to-day issue resolution. An unresolved responsibility can become a recurring operating problem.
Agree definitions before collecting metrics
Decide what counts as an active rider, productive vehicle day and service event. Define the time window used to measure uptime. Consistent definitions make the review more useful than a large dashboard of loosely defined numbers.
Review exceptions as well as averages
An average can hide repeated faults or a group of riders waiting for support. Look at service delays, unused vehicles and onboarding drop-offs. Ask what happened, who could act and which process needs changing.
Make the next phase conditional on learning
Review the pilot against the agreed scope and measures. Expansion should reflect support capacity, rider experience and operating consistency. A staged decision helps teams grow with a clearer understanding of what the operation requires.
