Start with where and when you want to work
Share your preferred area, expected working hours and previous delivery experience. A vehicle arrangement needs to fit the work you plan to do. Ask whether the proposed service area and energy arrangement fit your routine.
Understand vehicle access and platform eligibility separately
Having a vehicle does not automatically make you eligible for a delivery platform. Ask the platform about its current onboarding requirements. Ask the vehicle provider separately about availability, verification and rental terms.
Write down the full cost
Confirm the rent, deposit, charging or swapping charges, payment schedule and any additional fees. Ask which maintenance items are covered, what happens after damage and how the vehicle is returned. Keep a copy of the agreed terms.
Review the vehicle at handover
Record the vehicle’s condition with the provider, understand the controls and agree how faults should be reported. Discuss the proposed daily use and support process before taking the vehicle.
Plan for the days that do not go to plan
Ask what happens if the vehicle needs service or an energy point is unavailable. Understand who to contact and what help is included. Earnings vary with demand, hours and costs, so avoid planning around an unverified income promise.
